Pipeline Lead Engineer /Vienna

Our Client is the company responsible for the development, construction, and operation of the Nabucco Gas Pipeline. This multinational project will provide access to new sources of gas for European and Turkish customers, and will encourage competition within the international gas markets. The pipeline shareholders are OMV, MOL, Transgaz, Bulgarian Energy Holding, Botas, and RWE.

Pipeline Lead Engineer

Your responsibilities:

- Provide high quality technical support in pipeline engineering discipline to technical PMT at project FEED phase
- Supervise the quality of the engineering activities related to pipeline discipline.
- Manage, develop and co-ordinate the works of engineers within pipeline discipline
- Monitor technical performance / competence / progress of OE within pipeline discipline, and report on latest status to the technical PMT
- Delivery innovative technologies related to pipeline discipline within the Company
- Develop, maintain, consolidate and use, as required, engineering softwares related to pipeline discipline

Your profile:

- University or college degree in relevant area
- Minimum of 10 years relevant design or engineering and intallation experience related to the pipeline discipline. The role requires both sound technical and leadership skills. The ability to identify problems and deliver solutions through effective communication and technical skills is the pivotal attribute.
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project.
- Fluent English.
- Having team spirit and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
- Having interpersonal skills and be able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
