We are looking for:

GL Senior Clerk - Cracow

Role Objectives
- Performing financial activities for multiple entities/countries
- Participation in GSSC continuous improvement initiatives
- Delivering high levels of customer service
- Ensuring own work adheres to Company policies and procedures
- Working with own team and/or with other process teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Inventory Accounting,
- Perform processes connected with Treasury and Cash Management
- Perform Tax Accounting
- Manage Interfaces, Exceptions and Errors
- Perform Accounts Reconciliation
- Process of Month End accruals and Journal Entries
- Perform Cost Allocations
- Perform other Period End Closing activities
- Prepare Closing Deliverables & Reporting,
- Manage Internal/External audit sessions
- Collating and inputting data with high level of accuracy and in accordance with Service Level Agreements,
- Conduct successful knowledge transfer within the GL area,
- Perform other GL duties,
- Prepare process maps and desktop procedures,
- Establish very good relationship with the client,
- Ensuring that all relevant Company and GSSC standards and guidelines are met,
- Communication with internal and external customer in an effective and efficient manner
- Coaching and supporting other team members in achieving team and individual goals
- Acting as a specialist and first point of contact for a specific process or IT application
- Training new colleagues

Competences needed

- Education - University degree in finance, accounting or any related
- Technical skills - MS Office (advanced MS Excel) , SAP (or other ERP system) knowledge
- Experience in customer service, two to four years of working experience in finance and accounting activities, competent and experienced in GL activities, good knowledge of accounting principles, activities and processes, awareness of internal and external business environment, good understanding of the relevant regional accounting practices and the regulatory environment. Experience from working with accounting in Hungary or for a shared services centre with Hungarian customers is an advantage
- Very good command of English, Native or excellent Hungarian (required for 2 of the 3)
- Transition experience or SAP implementation experience
- Experience of working in a / within a multicultural, international environment
- Available to travel / full time orientated
