Financial Controller
Job Description:
Reporting to the Regional Director Eastern Europe and the Group Financial Controller, the Financial Controller will be responsible supervision and control of the accounting function of the Eastern Europe based out of Poland
This position will have a strong commercial focus with an opportunity to work as a business partner to the polish sales team.
The role will encompass all aspects of financial management of the polish business including credit control, management of stock, product margin analysis, monthly reporting to the Group HQ, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and other ad hoc duties as required.
The successful candidate must have strong communications skills and be able to demonstrate a good level of experience in all areas detailed above.
The role will also involve regular communication providing assistance and support in relation to finance, accounting, legal and other issues hence a good understanding of written and spoken English will be beneficial.
Product margin analysis and product pricing;
Preparation of monthly results compliant with local and Group GAAP requirements
Management of cash flow and cash forecasts
P&L and Balance sheet budgeting / forecasting
Accurate management of stock levels and stock control
Supervision of finance staff
Skills Required:
At least 2 years of experience as a Head of Finance or Financial Controller
Very good written and spoken Polish and English
Working knowledge of accounting software, MS Excel and MS Office
Knowledge and Experience of Polish Accounting systems
Experience of Polish tax law, VAT, Corporate tax, Personal income tax and other state obligations for limited liability company
Understanding of IFRS accounting standards
